 | What are the features and how will they benefit you? | 16.1 Megapixel Super HAD Sensor – powerful image sensor allows you to print up to A3+ size or crop your images whilst maintaining enough image quality to print great 6x4 size photos. Optical Image Stabilisation – The Optical SteadyShot image stabiliser works using a built-in gyro to shift the lens, which helps to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, when shooting in low-light conditions, or at full zoom. High Sensitivity Mode (ISO 3200) - High ISO allows for faster shutter speed, so you can take photos indoors or in low-light without the need for a flash. Also helps to prevent blur caused by subject movement. 25mm Wide Angle 5x Optical Zoom Lens – cover a wide range of shooting situations from wide-angle to capture more in your image - such as group photos, landscapes, or tight interior shots - to telephoto where you can zoom up close to distant objects. Face Detection – focuses and sets correct exposure and white balance for faces (up to 8) rather than other picture elements that might be in the foreground or background. Sweep Panorama - Just press the shutter and sweep the camera: automatically combines a burst of images to create extra-wide panoramic pictures Intelligent Auto - Automatically adjusts exposure and other settings for optimum results in a wide range of shooting situations. No need to fiddle around in menus or manually select scene modes. Intelligent Scene Recognition - automatically detects eight different types of scene conditions and within 1/30th of a second selects the appropriate camera settings – saves fiddling with menus. Red-eye Correction – By using the retouch function, red eyes can be fixed in-camera with the push of a button – great if you are printing directly from the camera or memory card. Anti-Blink - When the camera is set to Soft Snap, the Anti-blink function captures two images, recording only the photo with less squinting. If a blink is detected in other shooting modes, a warning will be displayed after you take the shot. Smile Shutter – when in this mode camera automatically takes a photo when it detects a subject’s smile in the frame. Easy Shooting Mode – Easy Shooting Mode, even beginners can take great photos. In Easy Shooting Mode, easy-to-understand basic instructions are displayed on the LCD screen and the camera switches to all automatic settings. Dynamic Range Optimiser (DRO) – automatically optimises image to recover lost details in shadows and lost highlights. Soft Skin mode - Soft Skin mode recognizes skin tones and reduces the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles without affecting the rest of the shot. Natural Flash - takes a reference shot without flash and then uses that reference to correct the color, for far more lifelike images Self-Portrait Timer - recognises when your face enters the frame. Once the camera detects your face, it triggers a 2-second timer, and then snaps a picture. Photo Music - combines images with music (4 tracks, 5 minutes per track) to produce fun and entertaining slide shows with standard visual effects (Simple, Nostalgic, Active, and Stylish). PMB Portable - Built-in transfer software allows quick, easy uploads to image sharing sites when camera is connected to any web-enabled PC.
